Favorite Photographers: Ten Directions
Ten Directions is one of my favorite photographers on Flickr and one of my first Flickr friends. He just has the eye. The eye for composition, the eye for light, for shadow, and for seeing things in ways that we don’t or that we take for granted. I can’t really tell you what it is about his photos that I love so much, but that almost each time they get me in my heart — in that totally unspeakable way that you understand, but can’t express.
Favorites: his seagull shots, his flower macros, and his cat TM. I made a flickr gallery of some of my favorites. But since I’ve faved over 120 of his photos, it was hard to pick a small handful to include here. Go check out his stream or check out my gallery. I hope you like them.
Shout out
The layout of my new blog is inspired by Living in the Stills, a photography blog I follow. I love the simplicity of his layout and how it really emphasizes the photo. So that’s what I went for, too. The template I am using is called Carrington Text. It’s a free theme and I loved its simplicity as well.
